SEPTEMBER 2011 "My husband and I returned from our trip on Saturday, Oct 1, 2011. We had a wonderful time. John and Jim were wonderful to us and were so hospitable. They made us laugh and gave us some tips for visiting the area. They insisted upon taking pictures the day we left, with their hats on. My husband really enjoyed them because they shared a love of fishing. It is definitely a trip we will never forget!"

Also, neighbor Jim and John were awesome. They had lot of information and they even helped teach my husband how to flyfish. They are indeed very nice and very helpful. We really appreciated being able to stay there on such short notice. (Loved the babbling brook just outside the door)...Wow! We came home with several hundred pictures...now the hard part of trying to decide which ones to keep.

AUGUST 2011 "We had a great time. The cabin was charming, comfortable, and in a great setting. Very nice rustic decor. Loved the blue ribbon fishing right out the front door. I fished alot, Jen painted the gorgeous scenery. We really liked the scenery in the park especially Dream Lake, but an unexpected highlight, maybe THE highlight of the trip, was our experience with Jim and John, next door. They helped us with everything. Fishing pointers, to the extent of going with me and showing where and how to fish for the conditions found. Very helpful since I'm fairly new to fly fishing. Information about the town, the festivals going on, the hiking and sites to see, places to eat.
We thought the park and town experience met expectations, the cabin exceeded, and Jim and John were an unexpected bonus which made the trip really standout, with memories to talk of for a long time. Thank you for everything!"

My daughter and I ended up hiring a guide for an 8 hour trail ride and fly fishing trip through Kirk's Fly Shop. We fly fished in Ouzel creek above Ouzel Falls. Just incredible beauty and so much fun!"
